Categories of Membership

  Company Members
 
  • Initial registration fee HK$650.00 plus annual membership fee HK$5,000.00.
  • A Company Member must be engaged in the concrete repair industry on a day to day basic.
  • Eligible disciplines for company membership: Specialist Concrete Repair Contractors, Consultants, Material Suppliers, Material Testing Laboratories, Maintenance departments of contractors, developers, etc.
  • Upon acceptance all members shall be classified as ‘Probationary Members’ for a period of not less than six months. Following the probationary period company members may use the Association logo on their stationery.
  • Company Members shall be entitled to have four voting representatives at the Annual General Meeting or at any Extraordinary General Meeting.
  • Further information required by the Association from applicants for Company Membership:
    • Principal Activities of the company
    • Date of Incorporation
    • Industry experience of main personnel
    • Number of employees
    • Work References
    • Affiliation to other professional organizations
   
  Associate Members
 
  • Initial registration fee HK$375 plus annual membership fee HK$1,800.00.
  • Associate Membership is designed for organizations such as Learned Institutions, Government Departments and Trading organizations interested in the Concrete repair Industry but not necessarily involved on a day to day basis.
  • Upon acceptance all members shall be classified as ‘Probationary Members’ for a period of not less than six months. Following the probationary period Associate Member may apply for a Company Member.
  • Associate Members shall be entitled to have two voting representatives at the Annual General Meeting or at any Extraordinary General Meeting.
   
  Individual Members
 
  • Registration fee HK$125.00 plus Annual Membership fee HK$600.00.
  • Individual Membership is designed for individuals who have an interest in the Concrete Repair Industry.
  • They are entitled to one vote at Annual General Meeting or at any Extraordinary General Meeting.
   
  Student Members
 
  • Registration fee of HK$37.00 plus Annual Membership fee HK$150.00.
  • Student members must satisfy the main committee that they are attending a recognized full time educational of distance learning course.
  • Student Members are not entitled to vote at any Association meetings.
